Jo-Jo’s Community Garden

Jo Jo's Community garden was launched in 2017 as a 100% organic garden. The Kassis family of Jo Jo's Pizza (jojospizza.ca) have offered the property behind their restaurant on Stittsville Main Street for the garden. It is a nonprofit community garden.

The garden design is in the style of a Potager (also known as a kitchen garden). This type of garden is a blend of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and cutting flowers. We have an insect hotel and sunflower garden too! Also, the garden is organic.

Jo Jo's Community Garden has a unique garden shed feature as well. It used logs of a dilapidated shed on site and wrapped them around a new structure to give the appearance of an old log building.
